Purwokerto, pada tanggal 19 Desember 2019 dilakukan visitasi lapangan kepada Program Studi S1 Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak IT Telkom Purwokerto. Asesor yang bertugas untuk melakukan asessment lapangan adalah Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zarlis, M.Sc dari Universitas Sumatera Utara, dan Dr. Eri Prasetyo Wibowo dari Universitas Gunadarma Jakarta. Asessment lapangan ini adalah bagian dari proses akreditasi Program Studi S1 Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak. Sebab menurut peraturan Kemenritekdikti “Program Studi Wajib melakukan pengajuan Akreditasi maksimal 2 tahun setelah SK Pendirian Prodi keluar”.
Proses asessment lapangan ini diikuti oleh seluruh jajalan manajemen (Rektor dan Wakil Rektor), Dekan Fakultas Teknologi Industri dan Informatika, Tim Borang 3A, Tim Borang 3B Fakultas, dan seluruh unit yang bertugas dalam penyedia data. Proses asessment yang pertama kali dilakukan asesor adalah dengan mensurvey bangunan-bangunan dan fasilitas yang ada di IT Telkom Purwokerto, Kemudian melakukan verifikasi dan validasi data yang tertulis di Borang 3A, Borang 3B. Setelah ini melakukan wawancara kepada Mahasiswa Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak.
Asesor banyak memberikan masukan kepada pengelola fakultas dan pengelola prodi mengenai manajemen dalam perguruan tinggi. Utamanya dalam penyusunan visi misi harus jelas, sinkron, dan berani bermimpi. Sedangkan untuk kurikulum, asesor menyarankan untuk dikaji ulang untuk proses Re-Akreditasi mendatang. Ketua Program Studi S1 Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak, Andika Elok Amalia, S.T.,M.T mengucapkan syukur karna proses asessment dalam berjalan dengan lancar, dan mengucapkan terima kasih atas masukan yang telah diberikan asesor. Proses selanjutnya adalah menunggu pengumuman nilai Akeditasi RPL.
